On August 31, 2017, cities around the country will be hosting events in honor of their lost loved ones for National Overdose Awareness Day. Here in Memphis, I will be hosting a Candlelight Vigil that evening at 7pm in the community garden of St. John's United Methodist Church, where the Phone of the Spirit is located. We will have a few special speakers, but the main focus of the event is the honor those we have lost to overdose. Please join us as we remember the many lives lost in Memphis.
